Utilizing the tacit and explicit knowledge of Korea and
its partner countries, the KSP creates and diffuses new knowledge
contributing to overcoming development constraints and
promotion of economic cooperation.
Individuals and organizations gaining knowledge undergo effective capacity development,
which leads to policymaking toward overcoming development constraints and promotion of
economic cooperation for national development.
The KSP has constantly created evidence-based knowledge that spans over 500 policy consultation reports, case studies, and content on capacity development customized to the domestic circumstances of each partner country.
Featuring the integration of knowledge, the KSP constantly holds policy discussions through seminars, practitioner workshops, and conferences throughout the project cycle. In addition, the program spreads its knowledge resources through its annual dissemination conference and regional seminars.
The KSP seeks to bolster the capacities of partner countries for policy planning, implementation, and evaluation of policy practitioners and decision makers. As holding robust discussions on case studies from major economies including Korea, the KSP helps partner countries develop problem-solving skills to pursue sustainable development.
The KSP leads to improved governance such as through policy formulation, legal amendments, and institution building. Because inclusive economic and political systems are recognized as a key driving force for national development, policy change is the basis for overcoming development constraints and promoting sustainable growth.
The KSP establishes a collaborative network with partner countries, international organizations and diverse development partners. Based on close cooperation, the KSP expands its impact, for example, the linkage to subsequent development and economic cooperation programs extending to direct investment and trade.
